MOOG/Model 10 is a faithful reissue of the first compact modular synthesiser built by Dr Robert Moog.
The Model 10 is a true reissue, hand-built to Moog factory standards from 1971.
Each module is hand-soldered to the board, wired and hand-assembled in the same way as the original.

MODEL 10
Since the invention of the Moog synthesiser in 1964, the sound of the world has been transformed.
This new piece of equipment allowed sounds to be created from scratch by breaking them down into their various elements and manipulating their individual outputs. Musicians, composers, artists and sound explorers embraced these new devices to create never-before-heard sounds, establish new musical styles and explore the frontiers of self-expression. This tradition of electronic sound experimentation will continue into the future.
The Model 10 is a faithful reissue of the first compact modular synthesiser built by Dr Robert Moog in 1971. Housed in a wooden cabinet with a Torex finish for portability, the Model 10 is widely known for its extremely wide range of sound creation possibilities, including the ‘907 Fixed Filter Bank’ and the ‘900 Fixed Filter Bank’, which was behind the sounds of Wendy Carlos' “Switched on Bach” and Isao Tomita's “Moonlight”. It consists of 11 discrete analogue modules, including three ‘900 Series Oscillators’, which were behind the sound of Wendy Carlos' “Switched on Bach” and Isao Tomita's “Moonlight”.
The Model 10, the predecessor to the Model 15, was developed with a focus on pure sound, ease of use and simplicity, while delivering the outstanding sonic depth and range of sound creation typical of vintage Moog modular synthesisers.

Key features of the 2022 version of the Model 10
Each module of the Model 10 is manufactured using exactly the same wiring methods as 50 years ago. Each module is tested and then fitted with aluminium panels.
Each module is tested, fitted with an aluminium panel, and then housed in its own cabinet, awaiting its journey to its new ‘home’.
The modules are made to order and are manufactured in the same way as modern music.
The unit is made to order and features the following improvements for the modern music production environment
The power supply has been improved: it is now compatible with 100V, 120V, 220V and 240V power supply voltages. The power supply has been improved: 100V, 120V, 220V and 240V power supply voltages are now supported.
The rear panel of the cabinet has been redesigned with a new power switch, power lamp, power connector, ground terminal and power supply voltage switch.
Tuning calibration and stability has been improved, resulting in tighter calibration with fewer tuning deviations.
The Model 10 is carefully packaged for worldwide shipment. It also complies internationally with waste, radiation and safety standards.
