Quantum MK2 is a cutting-edge digital and analog hybrid synthesizer with a polyphonic aftertouch keyboard. Five powerful and unique synthesis algorithms for each of the three oscillators, eight dual analog and digital filters, and a powerful modulation matrix allow for the most advanced sound creation in the world.

Despite its vast array of parameters, the multi-touch display and multi-color LEDs on each control knob allow for intuitive and quick operation. It provides operability that surpasses that of cutting-edge tablet computers.

The large-capacity 59GB sampling storage can store a huge amount of samples. 3.4GB of samples, presets, and wavetables are available, allowing you to use a huge number of presets created by sound designers around the world.

The keyboard is equipped with a Fatar TP8/SK 61-key keyboard that supports polyphonic aftertouch. In combination with the Quantum synthesis engine, it enables the ultimate performance expression.

Since the release of Quantum, Quantum OS has continued to evolve in response to requests from musicians, and has finally reached version 3.0. It has built the "Waldorf synthesis platform" and always provides cutting-edge synthesis. (It can also be used with conventional Quantums with Quantum OS 3.0 installed.)

Equipped with Fatar TP8/SK 61-key keyboard, renowned as "the best synthesizer keyboard in the world." It supports polyphonic aftertouch, and can detect aftertouch for each "note" being played and add changes to the sound. Compared to general channel (monophonic) aftertouch, which adds a uniform sound change to all notes being played, the expressiveness of the performance has been dramatically improved.

Up to 16 simultaneous voices, digital and analog filter voices
The hybrid design of the Quantum MK2 features a digital filter and eight dual analog filters. You can play up to 16 digital voices, or any combination.

Expanded sampling storage
The capacity of the built-in sampling storage has been significantly expanded to 59GB. This allows you to store a large number of cinematic sounds that use large samples in the main unit. This will expand the scene of activity as a synthesizer with advanced sampling functions, from sound designers, musicians, and film composers around the world.

Design and display
The beautiful Quantum case design that inspires musicians remains the same, but the coloring is now a classy navy blue. The panel is decorated with a new Waldorf logo.

The high-resolution display has an improved mounting method, providing a wider viewing angle and intuitive control of the Quantum synthesis engine.
