■Built-in microphone unit and digital signal processor realize advanced signal processing
Built-in 8 microphone units and digital signal processor (DSP). It is possible to capture a wide range of sound (acute directivity/unidirectional directivity/omnidirectional) with one microphone without having to replace microphones with different directivity. In addition, newly developed beamforming signal processing achieves both sharp directivity and compact size.
■Thorough noise suppression
Audio can be directly transmitted (*) as a digital signal. Achieves high quality recording without deterioration.
■Battery-less/cable-less shooting
Compatible with multi-interface shoe, it is possible to supply power from the camera to the ECM-B1M.
■Structural structure with excellent anti-vibration performance and various audio adjustment functions
Vibration noise is eliminated by adopting an anti-vibration structure and cable-less specifications. It also comes with a filter function to suppress unnecessary noise and a fur type windscreen to reduce wind noise.
■Various audio settings possible
Various settings are possible, including the DIGITAL/ANALOG switch, AUDIO LEVEL dial, attenuator (ATT) switch, and AUTO/MAN switch.
