ARTURIA's experimental hybrid synth MicroFreak is now available in a limited edition version with new firmware and space-inspired design.

■Firmware v5.0 Features:
MicroFreak Stellar comes equipped with the new firmware v5.0.
Note: Existing MicroFreak / MicroFreak Vocoder models can also be updated to this firmware for free.

Sample Import & Playback:
MicroFreak now supports sampling. Users can import and play their own samples, loop them, and add unique "freaky" textures to their sound. Samples can be up to 24 seconds long (16-bit/32kHz/mono format) with a total recording time of 3.5 minutes.

Granular Engine:
Firmware v5.0 introduces three new granular engines: Scan Grains, Cloud Grains, and Hit Grains, which allow users to explore fine-grained control over slices, textures, and impact of the imported samples.

Keyboard Random Source:
The keyboard can now be transformed into a sample & hold-style modulation source.

Snappy Envelope:
MicroFreak's envelope has been enhanced to allow even shorter attack times, ideal for creating gritty, cracking, razor-sharp percussive sounds.

More Presets:
MicroFreak now features over 300 factory presets with the capacity expanded to a total of 512 preset slots.
