Sophia Tremolos / 2:92 Seven Tremolo Pro Black

Sophia Tremolos 2:92 Seven Tremolo is a 7-string tremolo unit compatible with original Floyd Rose or compatible, Ibanez tremolos, etc. It has a 3.33” riser post with macro tuners on the saddle. The locking saddle, which is also multi-scale compatible, allows strings to be attached with the ball ends on.

●Installation
- Install the riser post on the studs. If the stud is too deep, insert the insert screw first to adjust the stud depth.
- Adjust the tremolo position by hand and make sure that the dual stabilizers hit the pocket face inside the tremolo.
- Remove the tremolo once and adjust the length of the dual stabilizers.
- While holding the stabilizer with a 5.5mm wrench, adjust the length of the contact pin with a 2mm wrench.
- Attach the supplied felt to the position where the contact pin contacts the stabilizer. (If you do not need it, you can use it as it is, but it will reduce noise.)

- Check the initial position and make sure the tremolo plate is at 90° to the riser post (or at an angle that matches the angle of the neck).
- Adjust the springs and balance.

The Pro model has a thumbwheel for easy fine-tuning of the tremolo stop position. Pro models are equipped with dual stabilizers. models manufactured after 2022 no longer have a contact pin at the end of the stabilizer for adjustment, but this does not make a difference in performance. *The truss rod may need to be adjusted when the tremolo is first installed.


- Saddle
Turn the tuner knob 100% counterclockwise to reveal the string lock screws in the locking screw access slots. To change strings, use the following method.
- Use the supplied 2 mm hex wrench to turn the locking screw to loosen the lock.
- Insert the string until the ball end fits inside the knob.
- Lock the string with the 2 mm hex wrench.
- When adjusting intonation, insert a 2 mm hex wrench into the intonation adjustment hole and adjust the intonation.

When removing the strings, do it in the opposite way.

*Do not apply too much force.
Before turning the tuner knob, make sure the string locking screw is locked in place. If you turn the tuner knob while the strings are not locked, it will become difficult to turn it after about half a turn, and if you turn it forcefully as it is, the locking screw will stick in the inner wall, making it unusable. Always make sure that the strings are locked before tuning!

Tip
The best position for the tuner pins is when the locking screws are visible in their slots and are above the bridge end. It may be helpful to slightly bend the end of the string. Never turn the tuner knob when the strings are not locked.

The feel can be changed depending on the position of the tuner pins.
