On the edge of a rock on the small Norwegian island of Gyske, the Ocean Sound Recording Studio faces the endless panorama of the North Sea, which rages relentlessly under the midnight sky with the Northern Lights swirling around it. Around it, snow-capped mountains tower like majestic giants, stopping time. In this magnificent environment, we found the perfect conditions for expressing post-metal sounds in their raw, unadulterated form. 'EZX - POST METAL' features a large, earthy, and relentlessly vibrant drum sound that is suitable for atmospheric, slow, and organic sounding metal. It includes four unique kits, two configurations with snare wires turned off, several additional kit pieces, and a set of big and dark cymbals. Sampled by Thomas Hedlund of Cult of Luna, a pioneer of the post-metal scene. In this genre, uncompromising drum dynamics are key, with equal importance placed on the bold exploration of feel, context and contrast, like waves and currents. Recorded in a studio at the end of the world, with the grandeur of nature as a backdrop, this is the ultimate drum library, featuring kits with a full dynamic range. Main Features Dynamic, big, dark and earthy drums inspired by post-metal sounds. Recorded at Ocean Sound Recording Studio in Norway. Four full drum kits and two additional kits, recorded with the snare wire removed. Sampling by Thomas Hedlund (Cult of Luna). Includes a wide range of presets inspired by post metal. Includes a MIDI library exclusive to EZX - POST METAL.
