EBX - THE SIXTIES is an EBX expansion library created with the aim of expressing the 1960s, the most iconic and defining era in the history of popular music. It contains bass models that were the stars of the soundtrack of the 60s, capturing the atmosphere, sound and distinctive thick, dark, earthy sound of the era. There is no other instrument that can so vividly evoke the image of a bygone era, either sonically or visually. The bass is strung with classic flat wound strings and recorded using two different playing styles: fingered and palm-muted with a pick. This allows for contrasting expression with the same instrument, and covers a wide range of tones from the traditional, thick sound to a sharp sound. In addition, the library comes with a rich selection of presets that achieve a wide range of tones, as well as a custom library of MIDI-based lines that have been customized to match the instrument and era. It is ideal for all genres, from delicate acoustic music to full-fledged pop and rock setups. It includes classic finger-style playing styles and a sampled palm mute option with a pick. It offers a range of notes from D1 to E4. It includes a preset collection that covers a wide range of tones reflecting the times. It comes with a custom MIDI library created for this instrument.
