'EZX - BIG STAGE' offers the most unique and iconic setting in the history of the EZX series. This is an expansion library for 'EZ DRUMMER 3' recorded on a stage facing the audience of a huge theater that was established in the mid-1800s. At the end of a busy street in Gothenburg, between a lush park and a busy funicular railway, a building that is symbolic of the city stands in imposing silhouette. It is the Stora Teatern, a Renaissance-style building built in the mid-1800s that was originally designed for theatrical performances, but now functions as a stage for art and culture. The Top Floor Studios, located within the building, are one of the most important studios in Gothenburg, and are a hub not only for the city's elite bands and artists, but also for those of international importance. The studio is managed and operated by Jakob Herrmann, the producer and creative mind behind EZX. This product was recorded by engineer/producer/mixer Jakob Herrmann with four contrasting kits and ambient mics placed at the edge of the stage, in the balcony and other key positions in the breathtaking room of the theater, in order to provide the widest possible sound palette. Whether you want to create epic rock tracks or ambient pop songs, or simply want a massive collection of genre-defying drums, or want to push the boundaries of audio-visual expression, this EZX is your new go-to.
