KEYS MIDI - FOLK is a collection of additional MIDI phrases for the company's EZ KEYS piano sound source series, created with inspiration from folk music from the 1960s to the present day. Even though the revival of American folk music reached its peak in the late 1960s, the influence of pioneer artists such as Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Peter, Paul and Mary, and others who paved the way for the singer-songwriter ecosystem, and who have passed on their legacy and songwriting traditions to the present day, is significant. This product provides material inspired by the 70-year history of folk music, focusing on its formative period while also reaching into the present. In this collection, you will find material that ranges from melancholic to upbeat, waiting for you to add your own words, melodies, and twists. It also features basic but immortal chord progressions, as well as the smart twists and characteristics you would expect from an Ezkeys MIDI pack. Main Features Piano/keyboard MIDI inspired by classic and modern folk music. Performed by professional session players. Covers 3/4, 4/4, 6/8 time signatures and straight feel. Tempo range of 67-127 BPM. Arranged into intro, verse, prechorus, chorus and bridge sections.
