Gothic, which derived from post-punk, paved the way not only for fashion, literature and film, but also for the entire subculture, and it can be said that it truly built an era. Gothic and its aesthetics moved from the underground to the mainstream, with The Cult, Type O Negative, The Sisters of Mercy and others leading the way, and it took on the mantle of horror-style romanticism in the 80s and 90s. After that, Gothic split into numerous subsets, and over the following decades it evolved into all kinds of styles. KEYS MIDI - GOTH ROCK is inspired by the bands that were the clearest billboards of the genre's heyday, as well as the pioneers who sparked the boom long before the word “Gothic” was even uttered. It contains sounds that create a dark atmosphere, such as the darkness of doom, the striking hooks of new wave, and the unmistakable nod to industrial.
