'BASS MIDI - JAZZ' is a collection of additional MIDI phrases for 'EZ BASS' created with inspiration from classic jazz. Rhythm and harmony are very important in jazz. The bass that plays that rhythm is especially important, and it cannot be emphasized enough. Since the upright bass appeared in the late 1800s, through the swing and big band eras of the 1920s and 30s, until the appearance of the electric bass in the 1950s, there was a solid bass line at the heart of the jazz sound. This product explores the incredible breadth of classic jazz. It contains all the elements you need to add universal syncopated bass drive and unmistakable jazz feel to your songs, including comping variations, walking bass lines, and rhythm figures. This is a library of MIDI phrases that are perfect for jazz music. Created by Laurence Cottle, a bass MIDI session player inspired by jazz music. Covers 3/4, 4/4, 12/8 time signatures and swing feel. Tempo range of 60-250 BPM. Divided into parts for common songs.
