KEYS MIDI - DETROIT SOUL is a collection of additional MIDI phrases for the EZ KEYS piano sound source series, created with inspiration from Detroit's Motown of the 1960s. Motown is a record label that originated in Detroit, Michigan, USA. With a focus on soul music and R&B, it achieved great success not only in the soul charts but also in the pop charts, and continues to influence popular music to this day. The label was home to artists such as The Supremes, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Martha and the Vandellas, and the Commodores. This product, which focuses on the era when soul and RnB were mainstream in the 1960s, includes hooks and rich chord progressions that are synonymous with the early “Motown Sound”. This collection is suitable for a wide range of genres, including blues, funk, gospel, RnB, pop and rock. Piano/keyboard inspired by the music that emerged from Detroit during the “Motown” era of the 60s and 70s MIDI performances by professional session players. Covers 4/4 and 6/8 time signatures, straight and swing. Tempo range of 55-160 BPM. Arranged into intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, and bridge sections.
