SPL/DeEsser Mk2 (Model 2230) is an auto dynamic de-esser that reduces sibilance in mixes and vocal tracks without sacrificing the timbre or natural character of the voice.

*This product requires an outlet that can supply AC115V 50/60Hz. Please note that it will not work properly with a regular household outlet (AC 100V) that does not boost the voltage.

SPL DeEsser Mk2 is a device that reduces sibilance in mixes and vocal tracks without sacrificing the timbre or natural character of the voice.

DeEsser automatically detects sibilant frequencies and creates a sound specific to that frequency without affecting adjacent frequencies. This S-Sound is phase inverted and mixed into the main signal to cancel out the sibilance. Even when the S-Reduction value is set high, the processing is so natural that the effect on voice characteristics and timbre is negligible.
