The monster machine has finally arrived
The MPC X runs as a standalone device and features a 10.1-inch full-colour multi-touch screen, 16 RGB backlit velocity/aftertouch pads, and 16GB of internal storage. It also has two USB ports that can be used to connect USB controllers, so the X has enough expandability to be used as a standalone MPC that doesn't require a computer.

The MPC2.0 software, which runs natively even when the unit is used in standalone mode, is equipped with 16 touch-sensitive, 360-degree rotary pots that allow you to control all parameters with great precision, for a rich level of expressive power. Each pot is also equipped with a high-resolution OLED display that shows information about each parameter.

Standalone Mode and Controller Mode
By connecting to a computer, you can use a number of VST instruments and effects. If you want to use your favourite plug-ins, you can connect to a computer via USB and use it as a powerful MIDI controller, and you can also use the versatile MPC software 2.0 with your DAW. Ver.2 .0 includes audio track recording, improved time warp functionality, expanded Q-Link control, and the addition of drag-and-drop functionality for audio and MIDI tracks, all displayed in a new graphical interface.

Endless sounds and inspiration
The MPC is renowned for its ability to play great sounds instantly. Vault 2.0 comes with 10GB of sound presets from world-class and renowned sound design companies such as CAPSUN ProAudio, MVP Loops, and CR2 Records. You can also store a large amount of your own samples as a library by installing an SSD/HDD (sold separately) in the MPC X. You can also directly exchange data with SD cards and USB sticks.

The core of the next generation of production tools
The MPC X comes with expanded functions to allow you to use it as the most powerful standalone production tool. First of all, you can use the CV/Gate output to control the analogue controls of modules such as classic synthesizers and drum machines. It also has RCA terminals and an RIAA pre-amp for connecting turntables at the right level, so you can now sample records directly. This improves the quality of sampling while retaining the roots of the product.
