The TUSQ XL/ TUSQ XL series can maintain correct tuning for a longer period of time than any other synthetic resin nut, such as graphite or plastic. It also produces a crystal-clear tone and consequently improves the sustain effect - proof of the TUSQ XL's reliability is the fact that it is used by guitar makers all over the world.
The TUSQ XL is a Teflon micromolecule that is released by the vibrations of the string. Covered by these molecules, the TUSQ XL reduces tuning deviations by minimising friction between the strings. And because these Teflon molecules are released from the nut, they do not disappear and are not lost, but always remain effective as a lubricant.
