Controls the humidity inside the instrument case, preventing cracking and warping of the instrument due to dryness. It also prevents deterioration of the tampo and cork, and preserves the original tone and resonance of the instrument.

Clarinets cannot bring out their true tone and resonance in high humidity, and dryness can lead to cracks in the instrument itself. Moislegato absorbs and desorbs moisture by simply placing it in the case. It adjusts the humidity to a suitable level and keeps the instrument in place.
