Ibanez / SRC6MS-BLL

The traditional "SRC" model, which crosses over between electric guitars and basses, has been reworked in a multiscale format, making it even more cross over and closer to a true crossover. The SRC6MS is a new crossover model that measures the progress of the timeless Ibanez Bass Workshop.

■Multi-scale 6-string model with 1-string side: 724 mm (28.5") and 6-string side: 762 mm (30").
The 2023 model is an evolution from the previous SR Crossover model, which featured the 30" scale (now called short scale) that was common on 6-string basses in the 60s.
■It is ergonomically designed with a different scale for the thin and thick string sides to align the tension feel of each, which is more beneficial for styles that move between the high and low fret range.
■The SR CROSSOVER body is a smaller version of the usual "SR" body shape (made of Okoume wood, which has acoustic properties similar to mahogany).
■5pc neck made from a combination of hard jatoba and walnut woods.
■Octave lower tuning than guitars (1E,2B,3G,4D,5A,6E).
■Mono-rail bridge with each string placed independently on the body.
■3-band equaliser for wide-range, low-noise active sound (powered by 006P alkaline batteries).
■Bartolini BH2 pickups.
■Soft case for electric guitars included.
