ZEMAITIS / ZUM-5C

The ZUM-5C is a Japanese-made concert-size ukulele with a mahogany body. Its distinctive heart-shaped sound hole and mustash bridge are its charms.

The body is made from solid mahogany for the top, sides and back, and the bridge is made from rosewood.
The slight arching of the top and back of the body helps to focus the sound within the body, and the design ensures that the sound coming out of the soundhole is also clear and defined.
The mahogany neck is joined to the rosewood fingerboard at the 14th fret.
The soundhole rosette is made of pearloid and is decorated with black body binding and pearloid purfling.
The headstock face is made of rosewood, the headstock is bound in black, and the diamond brand emblem made of engraved aluminium alloy shines.
The tuners are made by Grover, a highly reliable brand, and the open-type construction and plastic buttons make them lightweight, while the 14:1 gear ratio allows for accurate tuning.
