Unique Compression Modes Unleash Your Creativity
The original concept of the hardware mpressor was to make elysia's flagship alpha compressor more affordable.
However, elysia fans urged elysia designers to create something different and even more creative, something that could produce compression that no other compressor could achieve, not even the elysia alpha. The result is mpressor, a unique and creative dynamics tool.

From clean to colorful sounds.
Each linkable channel of mpressor has a switchable Auto-Fast function that allows for extremely fast, yet distortion-free and artifact-free compression.
The Anti-Log circuit, on the other hand, produces powerful compression effects such as pumping and breathing for extreme compression effects. mpressor even allows negative ratios for extreme over-compression effects.

Innovative Features for Innovative Sounds
Just like compressing individual tracks or busses, mpressor allows you to create sounds that are almost impossible with other tools. You can start with extreme settings and then use the plug-in's novel gain reduction limiter to select the maximum amount of gain reduction to suppress the effect and make it more stable. The included Niveau Filters are continuous frequency shift options that make it easy to shift the character of a track from subtle to striking.

Brainworx uses advanced circuit modeling techniques to faithfully emulate the all-analog, all-discrete circuit design of the hardware mpressor.
Many compressors produce unsatisfactory results when set to extreme settings and sound good only when used sparingly. However, mpressor's focused, high-end sound maintains the character of the original audio even at the most extreme settings. mpressor works well with many sound sources, but engineers especially love it for its ability to deliver punchy drum sounds. It is especially popular among engineers for its ability to create punchy drum sounds.
