DrumXchanger is the easiest and most accurate drum replacement tool available, using SPL's Transient Designer technology. DrumXchanger can recognize even the faintest ghost note and replace it, regardless of its dynamic level.

DrumXchanger is more than just a sound replacement tool. It is a powerful tool for optimizing drum tracks. It can process drums to make them sound better, so there is no need to replace drum sounds, bringing endless possibilities to the drum mix.
It also allows for gradual (0-100%) replacement of the actual sound in order to mix both the original and sampled sounds.

DrumXchanger comes with a library of four drum kits (snare, bass drum, and toms).


Dual Threshold Technology
Since sound replacement technology is usually based on level recognition, thresholds can only be set for certain levels. Softer sounds are therefore not recognized, making overall accurate recognition impossible.

DrumXchanger allows the user to set two types of thresholds: level threshold and transient threshold. The result is highly accurate recognition of drum hits and surprisingly easy drum replacement.

DrumXchanger has two transient designers, one for the original sound and one for the sampled sound, so it can quickly and accurately recognize the sound to be replaced and process the replacement sample. It is truly powerful.

With the included DrumXchanger Editor, you can create up to three different types of multisamples with up to eight different dynamic levels. The snare and tom samples can also include rimshot sounds.

During a listening session for this technology, one hardware developer stated that SPL “solved the analog code!” and in the process created the name for SPL's software product line.
