The most powerful passive EQ on the planet

・Targeting as many as 72 frequency bands per channel.
Based on the Pultec EQ, a two-band passive EQ from the 1950s and 60s, SPL Passeq offers six independent bands that boost/cut frequency components.
Twelve different frequencies can be switched per band, for a total of 36 boost and 36 cut frequencies. Each of these boost and cut frequencies is different, allowing 72 frequencies to be targeted per channel.

True Authentic Sound
SPL Passeq is more than just an emulation. It is precisely designed with component-level modeling. All of the complex interactions between filters are reproduced for a truly authentic sound. In addition, SPL Passeq offers the flexibility of a wide variety of filter choices.

Complex band-to-band interaction
One of the unique features of the passive EQ design is that the audio signal responds to multiple bands simultaneously. Changing the settings of one band results in band-to-band interaction. Because of this characteristic, passive EQs provide a unique musical sound that cannot be achieved with active EQs.

Built for Mixing and Mastering
The combination of filtering power, mastering quality, and advanced M/S processing make SPL Passeq an indispensable tool for mixing and mastering. It can be used to balance mix busses and subtly fine-tune masters, and SPL Passeq's 10 Hz sub-band and 16 kHz top band are truly mesmerizing.
