They say twice is three times, and that's exactly what Unfiltered Audio has done again with their latest creation, TRIAD.

Unfiltered Audio, after the great success of “BYOME”, has done it again with their latest creation, TRIAD. This three-headed beast, which splits the signal into three bands and allows the BYOME effect to be applied to each band separately, is sure to blow other plug-ins out of the water.

TRIAD takes the great potential of its single-band predecessor, BYOME, and brings a new level of control to a myriad of onboard effects.
In a nutshell, TRIAD is a 3-band frequency splitter that can process low, mid, and high frequencies in different effect rows. From multiband compression to frequency-dependent reverbs, complex distortions to complex delays, pitch shifts and various modulation-based effects, all of these can be easily set up and controlled.

Even without additional effects, TRIAD can be used as a “flat-sum” frequency splitter with adjustable cutoff points. A nice looking FFT visualizer displays the signal and allows precise on-the-fly control of band amplitude and cutoff.
Well-designed tools such as “Auto Cutoff” and “Unity Gain” keep the frequency distribution between bands balanced and can even adjust amplitude ratios without changing the overall volume.
Individual bands can be easily soloed or muted with a single click.

In addition, you can change parallel + serial, mid-side, left-right, and any other at your disposal.
Many modes have flexible Pre/Post columns that allow you to quickly swap positions from the beginning of the chain to the end, allowing you to quickly flip patches for a quick sound design workflow.

Speaking of quick workflows, TRIAD features a unique “Permutation” engine that rotates the function of each active band.
For example, have a great delay setup in the midrange, but want to hear it in the high range? Then just click the permutation arrow and you can hear that delay without destroying the rest of the preset.
A number of presets have been created by master artists and sound designers specifically to showcase TRIAD's unique capabilities, from powerful frequency splitting to cutting-edge mid-side processing.
