FET & Tube Optocompressor with Twin Topology Technology


The Millennia TCL-2 offers the transparent sound of the Millennia Twincom as a plug-in.
The original hardware Twincom features Millennia's "Twin Topology" technology, which allows the user to choose between full tube or full J-FET/solid-state signal paths.

The plug-in version faithfully models both tube and solid-state signal paths. It also has the ability to process MID and SIDE information separately, and to control the Dry/Wet signal for each channel.

The plug-in version of the TCL-2 incorporates the timbres of these two circuit paths to provide the Millennia sound to DAW-based producers/engineers. Every aspect of the original hardware is faithfully emulated in the plug-in version, including the transformerless signal path, lower and tighter gain threshold structure, and unique single amp design.

The TCL-2 can be used by producers, mixers, and engineers for everything from very transparent peak control to some pretty crazy, stomping compression effects. Mastering engineers will love the precise control of compression parameters, the M/S processing capabilities, and most of all, the great sound.
