The Brainworx bx_2098 EQ plug-in is modeled after the iconic Amek 9098 EQ.
The Brainworx team has recreated the hardware of the original NEVE design in incredible detail. Now you can harness the power and tone of this classic British EQ for your mixing and mastering sessions.

Using patented TMT (Tolerance Modeling Technology) technology, up to 20 varied instances can be used throughout the mix. In addition, bx_2098 features full M/S control and dedicated THD parameters.

・M/S functionality for modern sessions
Manipulate audio mid and side information completely independently to create width and punch; control the all-important low-end mix with Mono Maker and isolate mid/side information to focus on the sound being processed; and use the bx_2098's unique 20-channel M/S functionality across the entire mix to create a unique, full-featured, and complete mix.

Create 20 unique EQ channels throughout the mix.
These different models can be applied to the stereo version of the plug-in to bring depth to the sound and give it the realistic character of analog hardware.
While some EQs lack character and tone, the bx_2098 EQ has the features to create an authentic analog experience. the THD parameter is perfect for setting the controlled distortion just right. It is true to the original circuitry we modeled and helps reproduce results previously only possible with real hardware.
