Unlike conventional shelving filters, Baxandall's shelving curve has a wider bandwidth, resulting in a gentle slope, natural sound, and minimal phase distortion.
As a result, you can apply drastic boosts and cuts to your mixes without unwanted artifacts.Dangerous BAX EQ is available in low-cut, low-shelf, high-shelf, and high-cut filters. Each shelving filter reaches deep into the opposite end of the frequency spectrum for silky smooth processing.

Ideal for tracking, mixing, and mastering
This EQ is the perfect tool for tracking, mixing, and mastering music. Use it during mastering to cut unwanted low end, increase headroom, and increase loudness potential. By gently reducing the level of the low-frequency shelving filter, you can tighten the bottom end of a drum kit. The high-frequency shelving filter boosts and cuts the top end's grating highs, infusing the track with a fresh airy feel.

Various versions are included.
When you purchase Dangerous Music BAX EQ, you will receive both a MIX version and a MASTER version of the plug-in.
The MIX version is a single control version that treats the left and right channels the same way when adjusting.
The MASTER version provides two filter controls that process the left, right, or middle content independently. If you need channel-independent processing, please use the more sophisticated MIX version.
