A new way to apply dynamic EQ
TOMO Audiolabs' LISA is the only tool of its kind: an all-analog dynamic EQ with dedicated optocompressor cells for each of the six bands.
This exact replica of the original model brings a new way to apply dynamic EQ to the digital domain. Now you can take advantage of the features and workflow of this boutique mastering-grade hardware within your DAW environment.

Smooth 6-band opto-compression and expansion
LISA features a 6-band compression circuit per channel.
The program-dependent compression and expansion are in average 3:1 or selectable 10:1 ratios, all with soft knees and the option to change attack and release settings between slow, medium, and fast.

Old-school EQ-like dials and high-end compressor-like controls.
With a layout reminiscent of high-end Sontec and Massenburg EQs, LISA uses an intuitive, ear-centric approach to sculpting your tone.
Rather than simply applying a fixed EQ curve, the degree of cut or boost breathes and dances with the audio. With proportional bandwidth, deep cuts become narrower and more surgical, and large boosts become tighter and more precise as they increase in intensity.

Perfectly complements the master bus and individual tracks.
Designed with mastering applications in mind, this dynamic EQ is perfect for controlling kicks and basses without reducing low-frequency extension or emphasizing them without adding too much boomyness to the mix.
It can also be used to reduce the grating highs of vocals or cymbals without sacrificing brightness, especially in M/S mode, and it can be precisely aimed at specific elements of the mix. If you want to brilliantly reshape single instruments such as bass, drums, or voices, use the mono version of the plug-in separately.

Generous Processing with Parallel Bands
Another feature of LISA is its parallel circuit concept. With conventional series wiring found in most EQs, distortion and rectification affect 100% of the signal path.
However, LISA's parallel circuitry allows individual bands to be processed in a manner similar to that of a mixing console, allowing for wider, more subtle, and more nuanced processing. This makes it possible to musically apply extreme EQ settings that would not be possible with conventional EQ.

As always, Brainworx engineers have added new digital-only features not possible in the analog realm: in addition to standard controls such as Mono Maker, Stereo Width, Auto Listen, Headroom, and TMT, for the first time in LISA, new feature has been added.
