The NEOLD V76U73 is an emulation of the legendary Telefunken V76 and U73 pieces of audio history, recreating the atmosphere of the richest sounding tube preamplifier and compressor.
The V76 preamp was designed with nearly unlimited funding from the German government and has enhanced countless tracks from the 1950s to today.
Nicknamed "The German Fairchild," the U73 compressor/limiter featured a Variable mu design and was extremely popular with European mastering engineers until 1980, when it was discontinued.

The V76U73 painstakingly emulates the actual analog circuitry of the V76 and U73. While respecting the straightforward simplicity of the original modules, it also offers features and optimizations unique to plug-ins. These include a resizable GUI, four layouts that can be manipulated to perform A/B comparisons, side-chain filters, a Mix knob, and a stereo mode selector.
