Variations

Kolstein's standard double bass pine resin is made by the long-established American string workshop "Kolstein. You can choose from three types of pine resin: "Soft," which is soft and has a strong scratchiness; "Hard," which is hard and has a silky feel; and "All Weather," which is between "Soft" and "Hard" and can be used in all rounds.
