The New Era of Multi-Channel Audio Converters
Ferrofish has conducted extensive research and development over many years towards the development of the A32pro series, successfully creating cost-effective and highly flexible AD/DA converters that meet the company's standards.

The Ferrofish A32pro series, equipped with a vast number of analog inputs and outputs, various digital I/O options, routing capabilities, redundant options, and DSP options for future upgrades, represents a new milestone in AD/DA converters and distributors for high-quality and reliable recording and playback systems in the latest recording studios, live performance systems, broadcasting, facility audio, and the emerging spatial audio recording and playback systems.

Analog & Digital I/O
The compact 1U unit features 32 channels of balanced analog inputs and 32 channels of balanced analog outputs via D-Sub25 connectors. It employs the latest generation ESS AD/DA converters for professional-grade conversion. Additionally, it includes stereo main outs (analog TRS x 2) for monitoring within the studio environment. Two headphone outputs on the front panel allow monitoring of all input and output signals.

Digital connectors include two slots for MADI I/O supporting up to 64 channels with optional optical (multi or single mode) and coaxial SFP modules. A32pro comes with MADI Optical Multi-Mode, while A32pro Single Mode includes MADI Optical Single Mode, with the option to add optical (multi or single mode) or coaxial SFP modules for redundant use.

Four ADAT inputs support up to 32 channels at 96 kHz in SMUX/2 mode. Word clock for digital synchronization can be established via BNC connector or through ADAT and MADI. MIDI I/O is available via 3.5mm TRS (MIDI adapter sold separately).

Digital Format Converter & Router
The versatile inputs and outputs of the A32pro series function as highly flexible digital format converters and signal routers. It allows audio signals to freely convert to all analog and digital formats and can output multiple formats simultaneously in 8-channel increments. Ferrofish products can achieve a remarkably large number of channels in a minimal rack space by continuous connection.

Complete Redundant Specification
The A32pro series is equipped with redundancy features to ensure peace of mind in critical environments. Redundancy is enabled for power by connecting optional power supplies and for MADI through optional SFP modules (optical multi-mode, optical single-mode, coaxial), automatically switching in case of line failure. Additionally, newly integrated power/MADI/temperature alert functions enable smart troubleshooting.

Front Panel Operation
The high-quality TFT display on the A32pro series' front panel simultaneously shows level meters for 32 channels of input and output. The front panel operation is intuitive and straightforward, allowing control of gain, output level, routing, monitoring, clock, and other settings via touch-sensitive encoders and a touchscreen.

Remote Control via RemoteFish
The A32pro series supports remote operation via multiple methods, making it ideal for setups requiring long-distance transmission in live recording, broadcasting, facility audio, and more. Remote control options include MIDI*, MIDI-over-MADI, USB, and GPIO for sending alert messages. Multiple A32pro units can be controlled via daisy chain connection. The RemoteFish remote control software is available for free download from the website and allows operation of all functions including input/output, monitoring, routing, etc., for multiple Ferrofish devices.

**Currently, RemoteFish available for the A32pro series is in beta version. It supports control via USB; MIDI, MIDI-over-MADI, and Dante are currently not supported but planned for future updates.

High-Performance DSP
In addition to high-quality analog I/O, A32pro is equipped with powerful DSP featuring Sharc-DSP capable of floating-point arithmetic and 80-bit accumulator processing, ensuring precise handling of all audio data. DSP handles routing, mixing, analog gain, level settings, and is planned to support high-quality Ferrofish DSP-Effects for latency-free audio effects in the future. It includes slots for two DSP sticks for functionality expansion and updates in multi-channel audio and signal processing.

Highly Expandable Platform
For future expansion, A32pro includes two slots for DSP sticks and one slot for SFP modules. The slot for SFP modules supports additional MADI Optical (multi or single mode) or MADI coaxial SFP modules. *DSP sticks for expansion and MADI coaxial SPF modules will be available soon.

Direct Headphone Monitoring
Two headphone outputs allow direct monitoring of mono or stereo input/output, eliminating the need for separate monitoring devices. Headphone outputs can be easily configured via source control on the TFT display, selecting analog, MADI, ADAT, or Dante channels. Submix monitoring functionality is planned for implementation via firmware update. These headphone outputs support balanced specifications.
