The revolutionary technology and functions of the Ivory 3 platform bring about a major leap forward in the reproduction of virtual pianos. It provides realistic and expressive sound by combining the operability of modeling using the newly developed RGB engine with the rich and complex sound of sampling.

Ivory 3 German D is newly sampled from a Hamburg-made Steinway D concert grand piano. This imposing D-274 is characterized by its powerful, deep bass and sweet, singing treble.

This piano, carefully maintained by concert technician master Michel Pédone, is characterized by its clarity and refined balance of sound across the entire range. It demonstrates the essence of the beautiful and memorable Steinway sound.

Soundmirror engineer Mark Donahue, who was also involved in the production of the legendary Ivory II American Concert D, and producer/performer Joe Ierardi have newly recorded and sampled at the acoustically perfect Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix Concert Hall.

■Ivory 3 Features
① RGB (Real-time Gradient Blending) Engine
Ivory 3 was developed based on the technology of the award-winning Ivory II. All of the features of Ivory II have been carried over to the new Ivory 3 platform.
At the same time, we have developed a unique new RGB technology at the heart of the Ivory 3 engine. The RGB (Real-time Gradient Blending) engine was custom-designed by George Taylor, Synthogy's leading expert in DSP development. Innovative, scalable, and flexible, it provides unprecedented expressiveness and incredibly realistic piano sounds through a new generation of real-time playback and DSP technology.

It has new features, such as Continuous Velocity to Timbre, which smoothly connects the velocity of each indiviVelocityike of the piano to the timbre.
Dynamic Shift also allows you to connect high-resolution velocity to the timbre Velocityfiner detail.
It also has parameters that allow you to change the character of the piano's key strikes from soft hammers to hard hammers.
The harmonic resonance that has been popular since the Ivory II era has been further enhanced, and the overtone and dynamic controls have also been strengthened.

② New feature: Continuous Velocity to Timbre
Continuous Velocity provides real-Velocitynges from velocity to timbre for Velocityck velocities.
Whether the controller sends 127 levels of MIDI 1.0 velocity, 16,384 levels of MIDI (CC88) Velocity Extension, or 65,536 levels of MIDI 2.0 16-bit Hi-Resolution velocity, Ivory 3's Continuous Velocity function allows for infinitely smooth velocity changes.

③ Customize your microphone settings
Ivory 3 allows you to change and blend multiple microphone settings freely. You can use the close, mid/side (M/S), and ambient settings positions.
Each position can be easily turned on and off with a single click, and the newly added mixing desk in Ivory 3 allows you to perform real-time routing and balancing, EQ and dynamics processing, send to reverb, etc.

④ Powerful, custom-made onboard mixing desk
The Ivory 3 mixing desk features trim, gain, 3-band EQ, compression, ambiance, chorus/delay, balance, M/S processing, and bus send for each stereo channel, as well as parallel processing with multiple signal paths.
It also includes new synthesizer layers, such as the beautiful ensemble string samples from Audiobro. It has an envelope attack control, and it is now possible to process it independently on a mixing desk.
