AmpliTube 5 Custom Shop is a free software package for Mac/PC that allows you to use a total of 39 gear models, including ten stomp boxes and five amps. IIt'syour own virtual gear library, where you can add only the gear you want from over 400 gear models. Of course, you can try out the gear before you buy it.

AmpliTube 5 Custom Shop has a 2-track recorder that you can use when running its standalone application. It's not just for recording - it also has a trainer function that lets you change the tempo without affecting the pitch, so it's perfect for personal practice when copying difficult phrases.

The free AmpliTube 5 Custom Shop allows you to use the gear models from previous versions of AmpliTube. Still, by purchasing the paid AmpliTube 5 series, you can use the latest sound engine unique to AmpliTube 5, including a redesigned cabinet section and an expanded signal chain.


Customize your signal chain
AmpliTube 5 now allows you to customize your signal chain more freely. In addition to mono/stereo settings, you can also use advanced settings such as wet-dry-wet, where the signal, after passing through the amp, is split, and spatial effects are applied to a separate system, and serial/parallel routing.

The signal chain is created by selecting up to 57 different gear models (stomp boxes, amps, cabinets, racks). The interface allows you to select the gear models you want to use by drag-and-drop, making it simple to build even complex setups.


Cabinet section using new technology VIR
AmpliTube 5 features a redesigned cabinet section. The latest technology, VIR (Volumetric Impulse Response), uses 600 IR data for each speaker to reproduce realistic acoustics. For two-speaker models, IR data reaches 1,200, and for four-speaker models, it reaches 2,400. In addition to the position and type of microphone, the interaction between speakers, the resonance of the cabinet, and the effect of the floor on the cabinet are also reflected to achieve a faithful and realistic sound.


8-track DAW functionality
AmpliTube 5 also features an updated 8-track recorder that can be used when running in standalonealone mode. In addition to simply recording, you can also edit recorded data, adjust pan/EQ, change the tempo, and import loops and audio files by dragging and dropping.
