This low-frequency booster uses an equalizer equipped with an LC circuit (a resonant circuit using L: a coil and C: a capacitor) to boost the area around a specific low frequency, a once-legendary recording method.
Lively sound
When used on kicks and snares, it brings out the low resonance of the shell and dramatically increases power and dynamics. Acoustic instruments will also bring out previously unheard sounds and become more lively. When used on vocals, it emphasizes the voice and chest resonance, making it more lively. Upon the release of this unit, we received rave reviews from everyone who used it for recording at Abbey Road Studios, Rockfield Studios, and RAK Studios in the UK. This is one of the reasons why legendary recordings using LC type equalizers have shined through the ages.
The waveforms of acoustic instruments and vocals are not symmetrical, so conventional hardware and software processing often does not yield optimal results. If you feel constrained by processes dominated by software or hardware algorithms, real-time exploration with this unit is perfect for you. You'll understand that recording should be fun, not a chore.
Bypass mode
When connecting an unbalanced device to a DAW system, if you put this unit in bypass mode, you won't have the problem of a 6dB drop (signal being halved) when converting from balanced to unbalanced. After much trial and error, we were able to solve these problems and condense them into a convenient and compact unit.

How to use
This unit is designed for use in modern studios using DAWs. We recommend using it after the mic preamp and before the 456HD. This allows you to achieve effects similar to those of the analog tape era. It can also be used in post-production mixing to provide effective enhancement for tracks that require bass improvement.
This machine incorporates the latest components, magnetic materials, and low-noise technology into its design. Even when used by inserting it into hardware, there is no problem with signal loss. It also has a very wide bandwidth so it retains all the original quality of the signal. The rotary bypass switch is easy to understand and allows you to quickly view and confirm results.
