Reproducing the legendary 2A optocomp. The top-of-the-line optical element Black Lion T4BLA provides smooth gain reduction and transparent sound. This is the Toneflake Custom version, which operates more like the original.

The LIN2A was meticulously designed to faithfully reproduce the sonic quality and ease of use of the best opto-dynamics processors in recording history over the last 60 years.
The LIN2A's simple control scheme belies the compressor's versatility. With the top-of-the-line opto-element Black Lion T4BLA, you can easily smooth vocals to a silky smooth tone or add bite and weight to bass or kick drums.

The 2A-style compressor deliberately omits the ratio, attack, and release controls found on regular compressors, allowing you to control pre-programmed best settings with a simple two-knob interface. In other words, you don't have to worry about bad sound no matter how you use it.

Toneflake Custom
This product is a Toneflake Custom model that achieves operation, release timing, and rich mid-low range closer to the original.

-Custom content
- Replaced the top audio signal input vacuum tube with a vintage American tube.
・Replace the signal line coupling parts with the selected parts.
・Adjust the low frequency compensation circuit.
・Replaced the vacuum tube operation plate power control resistor with one made by AB, the same vintage as the original LA2A.
・Replace the output signal line resistor with one made by AB.
- Changed the output coupling capacitor to the same method as the original.
・Replaced the vacuum tubes for the T4B drive with vintage tubes made in the United States.
・Upgraded the T4B drive signal circuit and replaced the vacuum tube operation plate power control resistor with one made by AB.
・Cannon connector equipped (normal is TRS only)
