ENERGY is a synthesizer instrument that succeeds Digital Keyboards Synergy, a very rare synthesizer produced in the early 80's. Released in 1982, DK Synergy was the ultimate sophisticated additive synthesis engine at the time. It was released by Crumar GDS (General Development System) for approximately $30,000. This premium synthesizer so enchanted Wendy Carlos that it was used heavily in the soundtrack of his original Tron movie, and its distinctive sound is featured throughout the film. UVI has focused on these rare synthesizer tones and has created software that captures their features and appeal.
