The UVX-3P is a software synthesizer inspired by the six-voice Japanese synthesizer created in 1983. The base synth came from one of the world's three major domestic synth manufacturers. It was designed to focus on playing a selection of traditional domestic synth sounds that had been cultivated up to that point rather than on sound creation.

The UVX-3P project began with a complete restoration of the actual instrument. Then, UVI's sound designers pushed this sound source to its limits in terms of its hidden potential, charm, and quality. All of the synth's versatility and textures have been preserved, from its glistening basses to its impressive analog leads and lush pads... all of which have been sampled in patches. In addition to the easy-to-use dry sound, we have also prepared a recording with a characteristic built-in chorus. The UVX-3P also features the texture that was only available on the actual machine... Over 6,700 samples and a library of 160 presets faithfully reproduce early 80s analog synth sounds made in Japan on your desktop.
