The world's most famous synth series finally joins the UVI Vintage Collection! No need to explain the instruments on which they are based! It cost over $15,000 and took many years to acquire these analog synths from their peak years. We selected four of our particular favorites from this series and, as usual, rethought their sound design in depth through perfect tuning. We have prepared 827 sounds that maximize their performance, attractiveness, and potential and have created a software synthesizer that can be freely manipulated and recalled on a DAW as a sound source of the UVI quality you have come to expect from us.

The concept of JP Legacy, like all previous UVI vintage synthesizer collections, is not to emulate or imitate actual machines. Instead, it is a software version of the original synthesizer, with all the same sonic qualities and charm as the original but with the added convenience and practicality of a software version. Each voice is detailed, multi-sampled several times, and sounds exactly like the real machine when you press the keyboard keys. JP Legacy has been meticulously crafted from hundreds of hours of actual hardware so that its rich, warm analog sounds can be handled as they should be. JP Legacy has 827 preset tones that have been painstakingly created from hundreds of hours of actual production. The software is packaged for convenience and ease of use, using 86,540 samples recorded on top-of-the-line professional equipment.

All of the voices in JP Legacy are user-editable, and the user interface is reminiscent of a real synthesizer, allowing access to all of the features of a software synthesizer and making it feel like a real machine. The pre-defined presets cover a variety of types and styles, from popular, vintage-classic, and contemporary to the unimaginable from the actual machine. Categorized for efficient tone browsing, selected presets can be freely edited, layered, and changed to sound completely different. Of course, no matter how much you edit, you will never lose the characteristic warmth and analog circuitry of the actual instrument.
