Skaka is a sample-based sequencer plug-in specialized for shaker percussion. It has 12 slots, each covering its instrument, various parameters, and patterns. Krevgrand built both the sequencer and sampler from the ground up to give this instrument a quality shaker sound. Each pattern contains events with individual parameters such as pitch, velocity (i.e., the instrument's swing speed), and envelope.

It has perfect control over the amount of shuffle/swing, advanced humanizer functions, in-and-out shake recognition, use of grids to apply triplets/quintuplets/ninths, timing tweaks, and variable sequence lengths. It sounds natural at any tempo with the texture of an actual percussionist playing, without the need for time stretching or artisanal techniques.
In addition, Skaka has a reverb, room simulator, and high-shelf filter for great sound.
Skaka comes with close to 200 preset patterns covering every musical genre and style.
