GotoEQ is a new evolution of the vintage passive tube-based program equalizer, bringing a classic sound with dynamic EQ bands. GotoEQ performs the traditional "low-end trick" with dual controls for low-shelf boost and arete but also offers the ability to perform the "high-end trick" with a similar high-shelf formulation. Adjust each band as you like for a freely selectable frequency range, and the GotoEQ's two midbands provide dynamic attenuation, bringing a musical approach to a classic EQ unit.


HOW TO USE

Simultaneously boost/cut the low shelf to create a low, mid-scoop in the bass track. Dynamically attenuate and tune the high mid band to reduce vocals and overheads.

Use a high shelf filter to add air to the signal and a "high-end trick" to "scoop" the high mids. Control the "nose" of the bass track with low-mid and high-mid band attenuation. Use light settings and gentle compression for the entire mix or for the basses, and add subtle EQ settings to reach the song's finishing touch.
