Degraders can be utilized as a lo-fi effect or distortion unit to simulate the sound of vintage digital gear. All parameters are automation compatible, making it a unique plug-in for creating unique and interesting drops, sweeps, and various other transitions.

Features

A low-pass filter is applied before and after resampling (off, low-q, high-q). The frequency is fixed at half the sample rate.

Controls sample rate from 250 Hz to 96 kHz in addition to jitter. 3.

It allows bit rate reduction to as low as 3 bits of resolution or, if that is not enough, can be used to add extra saturation. 4.

Use the input/output controls to adjust gain levels and control blending with unprocessed signals. A/B testing of the effect can be performed with the power button on or off.
