DAW Cassette emulates the sound of a tape deck and brings the magic of the 1980s. Saturation, distortion, noise, tilt, and the indefinable elements of the past are all here. There is still no rational logic to it, but many will find the tones thrilling. It sounds really fresh now. You can freely control the input/output gain, tape/motor/head quality, and tape/noise type to achieve your desired level of cassette-ness. Just like a mullet hairdo, the sound of a bygone era is here.
