The new pad controller of the LPD8 features the same velocity-sensitive RGB backlit MPC pads as the flagship model Akai Professional MPC X. From punchy kicks and snares to fast hi-hat rolls, this compact controller can express dynamic pad performance.

The eight RGB pads allow you to visually customize sound grouping and arrangement. The eight rotary knobs allow intuitive control of MIDI CC, plug-in effects, and other parameters.

The LPD8 combines the rugged construction of a standalone MPC with a slim design that is easy to carry. It is a powerful unit that fits compactly into any situation, whether you are taking it on the go as a partner for percussive pad playing or making music in the studio.
