The SP2016 was the first programmable studio rack processor. Eventide first introduced the concept of ""plug-ins"" to the pro audio industry in 1982 by replacing actual EPROM chips. The SP2016 was used by many famous engineers, including Dave Pensado, George Massenburg, Alan Sides, Roy Hendrickson, Jack Douglas, and Mick Guzauski. This reverb can be heard on countless hit records, including Talking Heads, Adele, Mariah Carey, and Eminem. Now, 36 years later, this famous sound is available in your DAW.

■Features
Room - A basic room echo, mono effect with stereo output. In the extreme pre-delay range, this effect can be used for reverberant harmonics or single echoes.
Stereo Room - Recreates the atmosphere of a large concert hall with very clear and natural reverberation. It features a natural sound and is suitable for instruments where you want a natural reverberation sound like vocals, drums, acoustic guitar, strings, and horns.
Hi-Density Plate - A plate type reverb with dual pickups that simulates the effect of a heavier, heavier plate. With this reverb, you can make vocals, guitars, and percussive instruments seem more spacious and bright than they actually are.
Tweak controls such as PreDelay, Decay, Position, and Diffusion to control the structure of the reverb. The EQ section allows simple high-low filtering of the reverb with an adjustable filter range. You can use the low filter to cut the OR boost at a specified frequency.

Presets from a variety of artists are available, including Dave Pensado, Richard Devine, Joe Chiccarelli, Sasha, George Massenberg, The Butcher Bros., and Buda and Grandz.
