The JUPITER-4 Software Synthesizer is a full-scale reproduction of the first synthesizer to bear the JUPITER name. The JUPITER-4, released in 1978, was the beginning of Roland's analog polysynth history, and its warm, thick sound had a huge influence on the emergence of synth pop, new wave, and other new music genres.
