Certified and re-engineered by Peter Zinovieff, founder and developer of Electronic Music Studios (EMS), the company that created the legendary Synthi AKS synthesizer, the Erica Synths SYNTRX was produced in a limited run of 1056 units.
Erica Synths has taken the lessons learned from developing the SYNTRX to create an instrument that blends more deeply into contemporary electronic and experimental music setups, from drones and powerful bass lines to glitched noise-scapes.
SYNTRX II is the culmination of our analog sound design circuitry: a main oscillator with two fully stable sound shapers, a versatile multi-mode filter, a wonderfully textured external input with an envelope follower, and a unique and wonderful sound character. The new DSP platform has powerful new effects with a new ring modulator, a joystick for recording operations, and an Erica Synth signature matrix mixer with a built-in piano roll sequencer.
