The KORG/minilogue bass is a synthesizer for bassists who want to try their hand at synth bass. It comes equipped with bass preset programs supervised by a professional bassist.
[Features]
■""New Bassic - Overturning music from the ""bass"".
Bassists are expected to play in a variety of styles that transcend genres. KORG is releasing a new synthesizer for bassists who want to try out synth bass.
Of the 100 presets, 40 programs are included that were created in collaboration with professional bassists who actually use synth bass. Just select a sound and you can enjoy a ready-to-use synth bass sound.
Why not take a step out of the confines of ""your own bass sound"" that you've been trapped in and expand the scope of your playing with real analog sounds? The minilogue bass will bring a chemical reaction to your band sound.
■Equipped with bass preset programs supervised by professional bassists
Of course, you can edit the various sounds inherited from the best-selling synth minilogue, but let's start by using the preset programs. Even if the bass sound sounds good on its own, it can be difficult to adjust the sound pressure, positioning, and balance when it is mixed into a song with a band. However, this problem can be solved by simply selecting a program that has been adjusted by a professional bassist himself.
Next, customize the preset program to your liking by changing the thickness of the sound with the VCO and voice mode, and the brightness of the sound with the filter. All 100 presets, including sounds other than the bass, were created specifically for the minilogue bass.
You can save up to 200 sounds that you have created yourself (100 preset programs and 100 user programs).
■ Powerful sound that can only be produced by real analog circuits
The minilogue bass's analog synthesizer circuitry provides thickness, sound pressure, and harmonics that cannot be reproduced by digital synths. The panel interface allows intuitive editing that is unique to analog, and will be useful for bassists to respond quickly during live performances and productions.
The configuration is 2VCO, 1VCF, 2EG, 1VCA, and 1LFO. The minilogue's unique wave shapes form the oscillator's overtones, and there are a variety of powerful modulations, including cross modulation, oscillator sync, and ring modulation. And there's a delay combined with a high-pass filter. The powerful sound and its rich variations are the hallmarks of a true analog synthesizer.
■Design with an overwhelming presence
The unusual and distinctive panel features a design that expresses an undulating groove. The black-red inverted keys also represent our hope that bassists will be able to dispel their preconceived notion that black and white = keyboard instruments = difficult, and that the instrument will be fun and easy to use. Together with the red wood rear panel coordinated to match, the cool and stylish design enhances your presence on stage.
