Famous mix engineers such as Dave Pensado, Bob Horn, and Jack Douglas use the high-end Black Box Analog Design HG-2 tube processor in their mixes.

The sweet tube and creamy sounding transformer emulations not only make your tracks sound richer and fuller, but also louder, bigger, and punchier at the same peak levels.

- Color your music with various colors

HG-2 emulates four different vacuum tube stages in series and parallel circuits to color your mixes and individual tracks with rich and diverse harmonics. Independent gain controls emulating the 6U8A pentode and triode are placed in series between the buttery virtual transformer that warms the plug-in's input and output.

- Perfect blend of pentode and triode charm
Then adjust the Density control to drive both tubes harder, making them thicker and heavier, without changing the relative balance between them or the plug-in's output level. The Calibration menu emulates the effect of the original hardware's internal trim adjustments, instantly changing the HG-2's high-frequency response and creating three different colorings: Dark/Normal/Bright.

- Punchy and soft
The Air knob adds control over how much of the ""magic dust"" you sprinkle on vocals, strings, piano, or full mixes. Turning down the Mix control adds dry signal to the plug-in output, combining the softness and sheen of the HG-2's beautiful tubes with perfectly preserved mix detail and punch.
