ACME Opticom XLA-3 is a powerful and flexible opto-compressor.
This plug-in was developed in close collaboration with Brainworx.

It has a brilliant tube sound in a steel-encased military-grade component.

Use it on a drum bus for solid, seamless leveling, LA-2A style.

Pass a vocal through the input to add ""hardness"" to even the weakest takes.

The unique ""amp mode"" allows you to add harmonic color to your signal without touching the dynamics.

The XLA-3 offers three types of compression: Each compression produces a completely different sound.

Brainworx has faithfully emulated the XLA-3 and captured these features in the form of a plug-in.

The plug-in version adds several new features, such as a parallel mix knob, output trim control, and adjustable noise floor. All of the complex and beautiful behavior of the hardware is faithfully reproduced in the plug-in version.

Drive the input sound. Set the action. Adjust the level to taste. That's it.
