Brainworx's bx_digital was the first commercially available Mid/Side equalizer plug-in. With the latest update to V3, it still reigns as the best M/S EQ plug-in, with a wide range of advanced features as one of the most powerful and flexible EQs for mixing and mastering.

This 11-band EQ features fully parametric filters that can be used in dual mono, stereo, and M/S modes. It offers a stereo widener, mid/side decoder, pioneering summing tool ""Mono Maker"", balanced Bass & Presence Shifters, and advanced monitoring and metering capabilities for mastering work.

・Specialized filters for clearer, cleaner sounding mixes and masters
V3 is not a ""character"" EQ. It uses ultra-transparent filters that minimize phase shift and frequency masking to give you clearer, more focused mixes and masters.
Bass & Presence Shifters boost and cut adjacent bands in opposite directions to prevent the buildup of excess spectral energy that can make a mix sound boomy, blurry, or edgy. Use them to increase bass punch while simultaneously clarifying muddy highs and low-mids, increasing guitar and vocal presence, or softening cymbals.

Dynamic Equalizer and De-essing
In Version 3, we've upgraded our traditional de-esser to a more versatile dynamic EQ that can compress or expand any frequency from 20 Hz to 22 kHz.
You can remove sibilance in vocals or cymbals, or automatically attenuate the lows in an acoustic guitar track (but only when the guitar becomes overpowered). You can also boost a kick drum in the finished mix, or tame the highs in a vocal performance (but only when the singer hits the top of his range).

V3's innovative solo feature makes smarter EQ decisions so you can work faster.
Auto Solo and Auto Listen switches add touch-sensitive functionality to Gain, Q and Frequency controls. Automatically solo changes you make to each band and display individual frequency response graphs for each channel to explain the results of your tweaks. You can see and hear your EQ adjustments like never before.

・Proportional EQ and Transparent pass filters
V3's new Proportional Q filters gradually adjust the bandwidth of the EQ as you increase or decrease the Gain, concentrating boosts and cuts exactly where you need them, without trading off on neighboring bands. The high and low passes now offer more slope options to more accurately represent the high and low frequencies of your track, and eliminate noise and hiss. And a new global Gain Scale control makes proportional Gain changes for all filters at once, allowing you to strike a careful balance when dialing in the perfect magnitude of your EQ.

・Simple for mixing, powerful for mastering
V3 comes in separate versions for mixing and mastering, so you can add or remove power as needed. For individual tracks, you can also simplify operation with the bx_digital V3 mix plug-in, which eliminates mid/side processing and additional meters.
V3 also features advanced imaging controls, such as panning mid and side channels independently, widening the stereo image, swapping left and right channels, and centering the stereo image.
