Assistant View
Mix on the spot
The new Assistant View has been added to Neutron's AI-powered assistant. This intelligent control center will help you quickly complete your own mix. When you start playing audio, the Assistant View will immediately start analyzing and creating a reference starting point for your sound. You will then be guided to the intelligent control screen, so you can immediately incorporate your ideas.

After adjusting the strength of Punch and Distortion to create the rough sound, open the Detail View to fine-tune it. This is your Mix Assistant, faster and more flexible.

Target Library

Magical Tone Match

You can magically approach the tone of your reference. And in real time. With the new Target Library and Tone Match technology, you can dynamically match the sound of your material or stems with the track you are mixing. Load your reference into the Target Library and the Assistant will match your drums, bass, guitar, vocals or audio track to the reference sound. Use our presets or your own sounds to easily get the tone you want.

Unmask Module
Resolve the masking
Neutron 4 finds and resolves masking for you, so you can get the clearest mix ever. The new Unmask module creates space between two clashing tracks, so you can balance your bass and kick or make a vocal pop in your mix. Resolve masking on tracks and buses in your DAW and adjust levels to find the perfect balance. Clear up muddy mixes in no time, with no hassle.

Trash Mode (In Exciter Module)
Distort moderately or vigorously
Fan-favorite Trash has made it into Neutron 4. Trash Mode lets you distort and destroy your sound while mixing in a variety of timbres, so you can quickly reach extreme sounds. Tweak the character of your sound with the new Tone slider and explore the line between weird and cool. Use the Tame button to destroy your tone while preserving the dynamics of the original material.

Punch Mode (in Compressor Module)
Control the impact
Create impactful sounds with the new Punch Mode. See and control how hard you hit your notes. Add thump, punch, and snap to vocals, percussion, bass, and more. Use Punch, Modern, and Vintage Modes to get the dynamics you want.

Sidechain metering added to Compressor Module
See what your track sounds like and what your sidechain is like. The perfect sidechain is here. See your dynamics with the new Oscilloscope View in Neutron Compressor. After setting up the sidechain, you can use Oscilloscope View to see how the waveform changes as a result of the sidechain signal being input while tweaking the sound. From now on, compression should be checked not only by ear but also by eye.

Improved performance
Neutron 4 is compatible with the Apple M1 chip, so it runs faster on Macs equipped with M1.
