Two new Toolbox range plug-ins specialized in vocal doubling processing

VoxDoubler is the first plug-in released from Sonnox's new plug-in product range.

It was developed with the concept of solving complex and time-consuming problems and tasks in the audio mixing process for beginners and professionals alike. Sonnox's long-standing tradition of high-quality, precise, and transparent audio processing is fully utilized in the Toolbox range.

VoxDoubler consists of two plug-ins that focus on the most required processing in the vocal doubling creation workflow.
Vocal performances are the backbone of any track, and vocal doubling is a highly effective way to bring contrast, drama and presence to your song story.

Doubling vocal tracks throughout a track, or at key moments in a chorus or lyric is unthinkable in today's pop music recordings without that special quality to connect with the listener.

Why VoxDoubler?
When you need a natural and convincing sounding double, your vocalist isn't always there. Of course, you'll end up spending time recording and sorting the doubles, or copying the original lead take to another editor to adjust the pitch and timing and bring it back together.

Classic stereo imager, chorus and harmonize effects are often preferred because they are quick to use, but they often have unnatural side effects.

That's where VoxDoubler comes in. Experienced software developers have combined the best of both worlds: ease of use and real-time processing. The resulting double parts have a lively sound as if they were actually recorded on a multi-track.

Included Products
This product includes the following plug-ins.

Widen
A plug-in that generates two mono voices, panned left and right of the original. Widening a mono track can subtly emphasize a performance, or pan vocals to the extreme left and right.
You can also create a new doubling track and use the parallel double voice mixed with the original track.

Thicken
This plug-in generates a new stereo double voice and layers it on top of the original. You can use it to emulate the effect of recording the same part twice in a mono performance, or layer each voice as a stereo group.
